1. Indian Army Entry Schemes

A. For Candidates After 10th/12th

  • Agneepath Scheme (Agniveer):
  • Eligibility: 17.5–21 years, 10th/12th pass.
  • Service: 4 years (25% retained as regular soldiers).
  • Salary: ₹30,000–40,000/month + benefits.
  • Technical Entry Scheme (TES):
  • For 12th PCM students: Direct entry to Officer Training Academy (OTA).

B. For Graduates

  • Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam:
  • Eligibility: Graduates (any stream), 19–24 years.
  • Roles: Lieutenant in Army/Air Force.
  • NCC Special Entry:
  • For NCC ‘C’ certificate holders: Direct SSB interview.

C. For Professionals

  • Judge Advocate General (JAG): Law graduates.
  • Army Medical Corps (AMC): MBBS doctors.

A. Nationality & Age

  • Indian citizen (exceptions for Gorkhas, Nepalese).
